If saying Ai is banned, we’re Actually Illegal.

A respectful, slightly unhinged petition asking the President to let Ai keep its name. Super Intelligence is a fine name for a superhero. We’re keeping the two letters.

The petition

Whereas the term “artificial intelligence” has served loyally since the 1956 Dartmouth workshop and has never once asked for a raise;

Whereas “Si” already means “yes” in Spanish and silicon on the periodic table, and is frankly overworked;

Whereas two letters fit on a chart, a ticker, a hat, and a very small tattoo;

Whereas banning a word is the fastest known way to make everyone say it;

Therefore, we, the undersigned degens, respectfully ask that Ai remain Ai. And if it doesn’t, we accept our new status: Actually Illegal.
